Teamnet Group, in the Top of European companies at European Business Awards competition

Bucharest, 18th of February 2015 – Teamnet Group, one of the most important IT&C integrators in the region, was selected among the 110 finalists of the business environment in Europe and among the 10 companies nominated for the category “The Growth Strategy of the Year” at the European Business Awards, receiving the recognition Ruban d’Honneur. Teamnet is the only company in Romania nominated for this category, the group thus qualifying in the race for the title of European Champion for its remarkable growth strategy.

The main selection criteria for the finalists are the success proven by the financial and business performance, innovation and business ethics. Teamnet recorded an accelerated growth in the last years due to the important strategic steps taken by the company towards the Group’s transformation into a regional group focused on developing magnitude projects, with a major impact on the society. The innovation is at the basis of Teamnet’s activities, the company investing more than 10% of its turnover in research and development projects. The Group is also recognized on the regional market for the expertise in innovative technologies among which we can mention the Cloud, GIS (Geographic Information System) and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).

The competition is currently at the latest stage of decision, when a winner will be selected for each category. The “Growth Strategy of the Year” award at the European Business Awards will be granted to the company proving a broad and organic growth strategy at national, as well as regional level, recording a remarkable performance. Besides the competition based on the jury’s decision, there is a section dedicated to public voting, in which there are selected the champions for each participating country. European Business Awards, a competition of reference conducted annually at European level, is at its eighth edition and attracted more than 24,000 contenders from the business environment, companies with activities in 33 European countries. In the second stage of the European Business Awards, there were selected 10 finalists for each of the 11 categories of the competition, out of a total of 709 organizations in Europe selected as National Champions in September 2014. The 110 companies arrived in the finals received the title Ruban d’Honneur from the jury of the European Business Awards, formed of 132 European leaders in politics and business, entrepreneurs, representatives of the academia and mass media.
