Teamnet, part of the event organised by London Stock Exchange Group in Brussels

On the 13th of January, Teamnet Group was invited to participate in the consultative event organised by London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) at the European Parliament, in Brussels, along some of the most appreciated companies of Europe.

The event was hosted by the Chairman of the Democrats in the European Parliament, Roberto Gualtieri, and by Lord Hill, European Commissioner for financial stability and services and union of capital markets, the topics approached being the need for financing of small and medium enterprises, the sustainable growth of companies with good prospects in Europe and their importance for the increase of EU investments. Teamnet Group was represented at the reunion by Bogdan Padiu, CEO, and George Stan, Chief Investment Officer.

The initiative of LSEG is an important step toward the comprehension of the SMEs businesses, which, according to Xavier Rolet, CEO, London Stock Exchange Group, represent the “essence of our economy, that is why their financing is vital”.

Teamnet has been taking part, since last year, in the prestigious international programme ELITE, initiated by London Stock Exchange Group. It includes 17 companies of Romania and 320 companies of Europe, comprising a diverse range of sectors, from IT and software to food distributors. The platform has the purpose of supporting the companies of Europe in their growth strategy, by the access to long-term financing opportunities, to networking and trainings organised by educational institutions renowned on the global level.
