Dedalus TeamNet supports and rewards Modern Medical Management

Dedalus TeamNet proposes a realistic approach to health, that would benefit the patients, the hospitals and hospital managers, at the event Modern Medical Management, 26th Edition.

Dedalus_12.11.2013IT&C is the one that can ensure, according to the Dedalus TeamNet representatives, the increase of performance in hospitals through CONAS accreditation indicators, DRG reports and SIUI easy to obtain, managerial indicators, clear flows for receiving the patient into the hospital and tools that ensure the patient’s welfare:
“With the current health budget we will not be able to ensure the availability of all medical services to everyone. We must do all that we can starting from what we have and use technology to tell us where to intervene.
In Italy, the investments in IT&C represent 1% of the health budget and have led to savings of over 14 billion EUR. The authorities and the managers can see at any moment, through the IT&C platforms, the areas, the pathologies or the periods with the highest costs and make decisions based on them.”  Stefano Del Missier, Deputy Director DSP Lombardia and consultant for Dedalus TeamNet.

As part of the development strategy for a medical software suite compatible with mobile devices, the Dedalus TeamNet representatives have offered an iPad mini tablet to a hospital manager, during the event. The winner was Anca Buliman, Manager of Bagdasar – Arseni Emergency Hospital in Bucharest.

For the investments in IT&C to produce the desired effect, the information systems must offer hospitals tools to measure and generate better results for the patients, better indicators at management level and a collaboration between departments, adds the Dedalus TeamNet consultant:
“ARMONIA®sanita is an integrated information system, for the public hospitals, that optimizes the medical and administrative processes in the hospital, to ensure patient welfare.
For the hospital, this is reflected in more intuitive workflows for patient management, better collaboration in the hospital, easy access, on a single platform, to all medical, financial and administrative information and control over the results of the services offered to the patient.  For the hospital managers, the system is a performance kit: easy to extract data and reports, DRG and SIUI reports, easy access to performance indicators and support for the CONAS accreditation.” adds Del Missier.
