Teamnet doubles the enrollments to free classes for students in the 2015 “From Zero to Hero” programme

Bucharest, March 30th, 2015 – Teamnet Group, one of the major local IT&C integrators, is launching the fourth edition of the programme “From Zero to Hero”, designed to develop the future generation of IT experts in Romania. The programme provides talented bachelor’s and master’s students interested in pursuing an IT career, with access to free-of-charge crash courses held by Teamnet experts.

There are 116 enrollments available in Bucharest and Iași in the “From Zero to Hero” 2015 programme; thus, the company has doubled the number of enrollments as compared to the previous edition, which was held last autumn. The bachelor’s and master’s students from technical universities and schools of economics in Romania may send their applications starting with March 30th until April 10th; the courses are scheduled for the period April 20th – May 15th, 2015 at Teamnet’s central headquarters in Bucharest and for the period May 4th – May 29th in Iasi. Subsequently, the students have the opportunity to join a 3 months- paid internship programme. So far, approximately 70% of the participants in the past editions of the „From Zero to Hero” programme have been employed by the company.

From Zero to Hero is one of the most important academic programmes in the country. Undergraduates and graduate students enrolled in a master’s programme are offered development opportunities which add up to the theoretical knowledge they gain in the university. On a regular basis, Teamnet organizes at the company’s headquarters, free-of-charge course sessions and development opportunities to the benefit of young people interested in joining an internship with the company.

This spring’s From Zero to Hero offers 66 openings for the Software Development (.net, Java and Oracle) courses, out of which 16 in Iași, 30 openings for the Business Analysis courses and 20 openings for the students interested in Testing.  The crash courses sum up 80 hours of practice, including both individual and teamwork exercises and are to be held throughout one month, at Teamnet’s headquarters in Bucharest and Iasi.

At the end of the programme, the students who prove to have remarkable technical skills and who are passionate about technology will have the opportunity to remain in the company, for a 3-month-paid internship.
