Teamnet announces the new brand identity and the strategic directions for the next five years

bogdan-padiu-contentBucharest, December 11, 2013 –Teamnet Group, one of the most important IT&C integrators in Romania, announces the new brand identity signed by Brandtailors. This rebranding occurs within Teamnet’s transformation into a regional group focused on developing wide technological projects, with impact on the society. Teamnet aims to launch new complex projects and products to support development in Romania and in the neighboring countries, to expand at international level and to reach a threshold of 100 mil EUR turnover in the coming 3 years.

The new brand identity of Teamnet has distinctive elements, such as a strong color – red, symbolizing courage, dynamism and determination, the alpha symbol and the network of points which can be inter-connected as technology connecting society. The Greek alphabet letter has strong associations with science and it’s used as a symbol for representing the different values in various fields, such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and IT. As symbol of Teamnet’s brand, the alpha illustrates the innovation and leadership concepts.

The rebranding process started in 2012 and will be completed next year. The branding strategy is to be implemented completely within the next five years, following to a total investment of over 1 mil EUR for the entire rebranding process. Transforming the brand identity is part of the wide strategy of the company to contribute, through the developed activity and projects, to the development in Romania and in the neighboring countries, by the means of technology.

Teamnet’s business objectives for the next five target regional expansion, along with extending our activity in new industries and activity fields, and launching innovative products and projects. The group is investing over 10% in research and development projects, and we are currently involved in 12 such projects, including HeERO 2, Smartcem, MobilSage or E+, which are completing our projects. Teamnet has developed the system performing the management of the National Center for Emergency Services 112 and the National Integrated System for Visas, and these are just a few examples.

Teamnet aims at expanding geographically in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as in Middle East and North Africa. Currently, the group has four local offices: in Bucharest, Iasi, Galati and Bistrita, and four international offices, in Belgium, Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Turkey. Also, Teamnet carries out projects in other 10 countries in the region and, within the next 5 years, it intends to open offices in 12 new countries including Poland, Italy or Russia. Following the expansion, more than 40% of the turnover will come from international operations in 2018.

Teamnet’s objectives include extending the group, in terms of operations and business segments, approached both in Romania and at international level. The company will focus on industries such as energy and utilities or financing-banking and, together with re-launching the IT investments of the private sector, Teamnet aims, for the next five years, to have 30% of the turnover coming from projects with private companies.

Last but not least, the group intends to expand its team, from more than 600 employees in the present, to a total of 750 in 2014. Teamnet supports Romanian intelligence and creativity and permanently aims to attract new talents. Also, it is implementing one of the most important IT internship programs in the country, in cooperation with the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. This year, the group provided 40 internships for the students who will later have the opportunity to start their career in Teamnet.
