Romanian cloud solutions, in the SaaS Awards 2016 finals

Bucharest, August 04, 2016 – Ymens, the cloud company of the Teamnet Group, has qualified in the finals of Software as a Service Awards 2016. The company has been nominated in categories “Best SaaS product for non-profit organizations or education” – with the MyClasses solution, developed with Microsoft Romania, and “Best SaaS product for Client Services / CRM” for the Ymens CRM cloud solution, implemented for Caussade Semences.

Costin Matache_YmensOut of over 5,600 pre-university and university units in Romania, only a few hundred have implemented digital productivity and management solutions, which is a vulnerability, but also a development opportunity for us, as a country. Nominating a Romanian solution represents an important step and a validation of the efforts invested by the Ymens team in order to support cloud use by public institutions and private organizations. And we will continue this initiative”, Costin Matache, Ymens Executive Manager, said.

Companies from the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia and EMEA take part in the excellence and innovation program Software-as-a-Service Awards.

Larry Johnson, the representative of SaaS Awards, said: “SaaS Awards represents a universal platform for acknowledging excellence and innovation in software solutions. On a growingly mature market of cloud services, SaaS has become the main vehicle for using technologies that involve low hardware requirements from the user’s perspective, but which at the same time provide the most advanced solutions and technologies available”

MyClasses is a complete solution, which addresses the needs of the education system and, at the same time, creates a development space for collaboration and creativity for students, by providing access to the newest digital technologies. MyClasses is developed based on the Microsoft Office365 for Education services, by integrating them into a mobile application which operates as a centralizing core which teachers can use in order to develop and coordinate the didactic process. Thus, the necessary time for administrative activities in schools is considerably reduced, and inputting attendance records, granting grades and providing feedback are much easier.

Teachers benefit from increased mobility, with access to information from anywhere, based on credentials. The application provides solid support for talks with parents and facilitates the increase of students’ real involvement in the education process.

Moreover, MyClasses provides to the education system an alternative which supports environment protection by replacing paper with digital support.

Ymens CRM for Caussade Semences is a scalable platform built on Microsoft technologies, which allows the easy viewing and use of information about over 20,000 client farmers and 700 Caussade Semences products, used in agriculture.

Thus, not only retail aspects are considered, but also data regarding the distribution of land plots, geographical data, seasonal activities and seed use percentages. The reports provided by this solution allow the extrapolation of trends and patterns regarding farmers’ plans for future crops. Their analysis allows the adaptation of Cassaude services based on crop rotation, season-specific changes and geographical peculiarities. Such a cloud solution also has the advantage of low operational and administration costs.

As a result of its successful implementation in Romania, Caussade Semences has decided to extend the implementation of Ymens CRM to other three countries where the company is present: Hungary, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova.

The winners of the SaaS awards will be announced on Tuesday, August 09, 2016, and will be decided out of 200 nominations from the United States, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Europe and the Middle East.

Ymens is part of the Teamnet Group, one of the main system integrators on regional level, which this year celebrates 15 years of activity.
