Romania, awarded at international level for IT solutions of emergency situations management
Bucharest, September 22nd, 2016–Romanian IT solutions are increasingly popular in international competitions. This time, a suite of software products designed specifically for emergency situations management has been awarded in two categories at the International Business Awards 2016. The products developed by Teamnet Group have been awarded the Gold Winner in the category of Best New Product/ Service – Software Development Solution and Silver Winner for Best New Product/ Service – Software – Integration Solution.
International Business Awards is one of the most renowned global competitions in the field. This year, there were entries from 60 countries and 3,800 nominations. Among the winners of this year’s competition are AT&T, Cisco Systems, Vodafone, Accenture, OMV Group, Unilever, Thomson Reuters, Visa Europe, Mondelez International.
“Beyond these awards, which we welcome, the suite reflects our work of 8 years in researching and developing products that meet the current needs of the authorities of any country in the area of emergency situations management, especially in a global context that is increasingly vulnerable in terms of public safety. These solutions are implemented at present within 16 national and regional agencies, being used by over 1,500 operators in order to manage emergency situations in Romania, Serbia and Bulgaria. An added value is given to the suite by the Face Recognition component, in collaboration with the Japanese group NEC”, said Bogdan Padiu, CEO Teamnet Group.
The winners of the International Business Awards were determined by more than 200 executives worldwide who assessed the applications during the period between May and August. Also called “Stevies”, the awards will be handed to winners at a gala held in Rome on October 21st, 2016.
