TeamNet, ESRI Partner

TeamNet participated as an ESRI partner at the conferences organized by ESRI Romania and ESRI Europe. These conferences took place on September 25 in Bucharest and on 14-16 October in Lithuania, Vilnius, the European Capital of Culture in 2009.
Within these conferences over 1000 specialists from Romania and Europe attended, as well as international experts in the field, who had the chance to share experience with other colleagues and learn the latest news in the field of GIS.
TeamNet presented during the two conferences the WIMS project, implemented at the Romanian Waters National Administration. This project is one of the most advanced projects in Europe dedicated to water resources management and implemented nationwide. Using ESRI GIS Server technology in the development of this system has provided a spatial support for the management of over 200,000 targets found in the administration of the institution.
TeamNet decided to continue to involve actively in developing and strengthening GIS skills in order to provide customers the great opportunity to have a decision support based on graphical information, located on the map and accessible in real time. Together with ESRI, important steps in this direction were taken, and the WIMS project represented the opportunity for TeamNet to bring its contribution in creating the largest integrated IT system for water resources management in Romania.
