TeamNet, Thinkers 50 Partner

On 14.10.2009, Bucharest was the world center of business thinking. TeamNet was the partner of the Thinkers 50 Gala, the most influential global ranking of business thinkers, which has reached its 5th edition.
As a world premiere, Des Dearlove and Stuart Crainer, the creators of Thinkers 50, made public the 2009 ranking within a gala to which over 400 guests attended to, among them being present the thinkers who were already in the rankings or on the potential list for the 2011 classification.
In order to fulfill the rankings, Dearlove and Crainer analyzes the votes of 1,200 business people, consultants, academics, MBA students and visitors of the www.thinkers50.com site. The votes collected form a list of 80 names, which are then filtered after ten criteria, including the reference number found on Google, originality and applicability of ideas, presentation style, rigorous research, etc.
C.K. Prahalad is for the second time the ranking leader. Within the top 10 global business gurus the famous Paul Krugman, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Richard Branson and Philip Kotler are also present.
Special guests of the event, which presented their views on current developments in the business environment were: Michael Jarrett - London Business School, Henry Stewart - CEO Happy, Liliana Solomon - CEO Vodafone Romania, Kjell Nordstrom & Jonas Ridderstrale - Stockholm School of Economics . The event is part of a series of Meet the Thinkers conferences.
