TeamNet, sponsor of the Romanian 2009 ITS Conference

TeamNet, member of the Asesoft group, one of the most important companies from the Romanian market of software system integrators was the sponsor of the Romanian 2009 ITS Conference, which took place between the 14th and 15th of May, 2009 at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest.
The Romanian ITS Conference brought together actors from Intelligent Transport Systems domain, both, public organisations (national governmental bodies, local authorities, pan-European organizations, public transport authorities, academic institutions) and private organisations (transport and freight operators, public transport operators, automotive manufacturers, service providers, telecom operators, system integrators, fleet operators, road operators) and international experts in the field.
The latest breakthroughs and technologies in the following fields were presented and discussed during the Conference: IT&C infrastructure, traveller and traffic information services, traffic management services, ITS development and architecture, safety and security, financing through Local Operational Programs and Regulatory European Funds.
During the technical session, TeamNet presented one of projects implemented at European level , Safe Sea Net Romania. This project is a component of an integrated European solution for naval traffic surveillance and for maritime accidents prevention and management. The system users are: Port Operators; Vessels Agents, Local Port Authorities, EU member countries Maritime Administrations and the regulatory organization - EMSA .
In time, TeamNet has gained a solid reputation with strong partners such as Microsoft, Oracle and other powerful international technology providers. With top clients from the public and private sectors, TeamNet acquired a high experience through the complex projects it has coordinated, having a strong and united team.
